Description:  Here's an old friend! Been in the 208 many times. Someone brush painted the cab interior a Penn Central green. Later, the 208 would further suffer the indignity of having a roll-up garage door installed on its sides. There are now called Cabbage Cabs and a few other unsavory names.

Description:  Well here's an old friend! Someone painted the cab interior of the 208 a crummy Penn Central green and would end its day's with a roll up garage door on its sides. This is a 40 mph curve.

MBTA at Canton Junction
Title:  MBTA at Canton Junction
Description:  The date August 1984 approximate from film I scanned. Judging from the looks of the dirt parking lot, its around 7 in the evening; Today its paved with metered parking. The train itself a Providence bound commuter train, with its 5 Boise coaches, which are de-motored RDC cars, with radiator hump removed and known for rough riding. The 1006 sporting 2 sets of markers by the number boards and low hood. Note the old New Haven Canton Jct sign. Tracks diverge for the Stoughton Branch at Canton Junction. The stone Canton depot itself was jacked and moved for the Amtrak electrification.
