Album Info:
The classic Uxbridge, Massachusetts passenger depot was erected in 1895. With the lease of the Providenme and Worcester Railroad to the New Haven railroad in 1889, it was used by thd New Haven until passenger service was discontinued in the 1950's. Unlike other depots along the Providence mainline, Uxbridge was spared. In(1976 it was remodeled by the Uxbridge Coop Bank. Used by the Bank until 2005 when they relocated, its"was purchased by the Deruseau Real Estate for their offices. Though the inside and outside was modified for use by the bank, it was tastefully done with the slate roof and trim saved, along with the interior beams, ceiling and massive fireplace.

Description:
Though the roof brackets were removed, the depot has been tatefully altered for the bank's use. Notice the snow fences on the slate roof to keep snow from sliding down from the slippery slate roof. The large chimney suggest a fireplace in the old depot
