Album Info:Years in the making! The Freight Rail Improvement Project (FRIP) is a reality! Ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the occasion. FRIP, a separate, dedicated rail corridor along the Amtrak Northeast Corridor from Providence, Rhode Island to the town of North Kingston (Quonset Point/Davisville), Rhode Island. Album contains photos from the first auto racks on the Providence and Worcesters Valley Falls yard on October 3rd, to October 19th 2006 with the dedication ceremony at Quonset Point/Davisville. On October 2, 2007, saw the first move with 8 autoracks of imported VWs from Mexico for distribution. Also see my Seaview Railroad album for additional photos.

Description:  PR3 running in 2 sections today - PR3-X getting ready to tug on 8 loaded autoracks of imported VW's assembled in Mexico. They traveled via UP and CSS to Worcester, Massachusetts.
